Relay Harnesses: How Do They Work?
A relay is an electrically operated switch that has an electromagnet built into the component. A relay utilizes a “trigger” wire which magnetizes the coil inside which causes a small iron arm to be drawn to the coil and effectively bridge the broken the circuit. Once this happens, power is then drawn from a fixed location that the relay uses to route power to the output source. A common usage for this would be for HID conversion kits, LED lights, and fog lights to allow a sufficient power source to be used for the application which in this case are lights. Relay harnesses are almost mentioned synonymously with many LED and HID lights.Smart Shoppers Visit Used Car Dealerships
